DR. ALVIN BERGER

Dr. Alvin Berger is a retired dentist who has written three books, “Adama, A Mind of Her Own”, “We Love You, Madam President” and “Tentacles of Corruption.” He began writing at age eight one after sending a beautiful note to his significant other, and the love of his life, Vera, who urged him to continue writing. They share their time between Boca Raton, Florida, and Kirkland, Washington. He is the father of two children, Randi and Gary, and three grandchildren, Lauren, Max, and Austin.

His enthusiasm for achievement is evident in all of his accomplishments. He is an avid golfer who took up the sport after retiring and has won several club competitions as well as two club championships. In addition to writing and golfing, he is a painter and sculptor who has done works in bonded bronze as well as plaster and Lucite. His work has been sold across the United States and has been highlighted in several prestigious art fairs. While still practicing dentistry as his profession, he was active as a member of the American Dental Association as well as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fouchard Academy. He was in the Council on Continuing Education of the Connecticut Dental and served as its Chairman for fourteen years.
